Old Florida Beach is a premier, gated, gulf front community located in the panhandle of Florida just south of county road 30A. A Lifeguard Program was implemented in 2006 helping to make your stay a safe one!
Old Florida Beach is conveniently located next to the county patrolled lifeguard station at the Gulfview Heights Beach Access. The community is nestled next to Draper lake, a rare coastal dune lake. Fish for Redfish on the community dock, or rent a kayak for some adventure. The 30A corridor is well known for exceptional planning and development, trading uncontrolled growth for quality of life. Many fine shops and restaurants are a short stroll away. Save gas...Goatfeathers restaurant, Cafe Tango fine dining, Naked Grape Wine Bar, Miss Lucilles, Smiling Fish Cafe and Fire Restaurant are within an easy walking distance. Gulf Place with many fine shops is also easily reached by foot or bike. The South Walton paved bike/walk trail is steps away giving you access to over 27 miles of fun and exploration. Bike rental and beach chair rental delivery services are available to the community as well.
For more serious bikers and hikers, the entrance to the Point Washington State Park Longleaf Pine trail is just across 30A down Satinwood Dr. It features miles of trails and bridges through the woods for a very unique and scenic view of South Walton. Some of the Old Florida Beach amenities include:
